Luke 1:1-25; 57-80

After 400 years of not having any prophets to communicate with Israel, God sends an angel to Zechariah to tell him that he and his wife will give birth to a prophet, John the Baptist.

For Discussion:

1. In today’s reading, what attributes of God did you see?  (God is all powerful. He promised a child to Zechariah and Elizabeth who had been unable to have children all of their married life.)
