I’ve spent a few hours tonight going through my blog links, and my — hundreds — of websites I’ve saved to my Firefox Bookmarks. I’m trying to save the links I may want for future reference in my Portaportal (a great, get-to-from-anywhere bookmark system) and make sure that the links in my sidebar are links I actually visit from time to time.
I came across this article I had saved in my bookmarks from Poppypundit on an atheist taking issue with other non-believers. I decided to see what else I could find at Poppypundit. This post on Global Cooling had me scratching — and shaking — my head! Poppypundit suggests Climate Debate Daily to those of us interested in a website dedicated to covering both sides of the global warming issue.
Finally, I found Poppypundit’s piece on Literature and Culture, and it hit the spot for me! He ends it with this statement: Literature is to a culture what blood is to a human body. When we lose it, we die. Oh how I yearn to expose my children to “high culture” through literature!
I’m sure I’ll be back to read more from Poppypundit, but for now I need to get back to cleaning up and organizing my links!
